KHWAJA ARIF AHMED | FOUNDER, CHAIRMAN
Mr. Khwaja Arif Ahmed is the founder Chairman of AAA Finance & Investment Limited. Mr. Arif has gathered diversified experience in capital market since 1982. He worked in the field of secondary market operation, management of stocks and securities, portfolio management, investment advisory, fund management, handling securities law, rules and regulations etc. He also has a keen interest and immense expertise in investment banking, public issues, underwriting, merger, acquisition, fundraising, foreign investment, debt financing, corporate advisory, merchant banking rules, regulations etc. Under his dynamic guidance and leadership, AAA earned remarkable success and goodwill and established a benchmark for the sector in the country. Mr. Arif is a Masters in Commerce from DU and a Cost and Management Accountant from ICMAB. He is the Chairman of Stock & Bond Ltd., a full-fledged member house of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited. And AAA Holdings Ltd., another real estate company is also chaired by him. He is the founder sponsor of Adarsha Shamabaya Bank Ltd. He is also involved with the social and community activity in the field of education, poverty alleviation and welfare activity for aged and distressed members of the society. Mr. Arif is the life member of Dhanmondi Club Ltd. and also the permanent member of Dhaka Club Ltd.
MOHAMMAD OBAYDUR RAHMAN, FCS, FCGA, LL.M | Director
Mr. Mohammad Obaydur Rahman, Managing Director joined the Company on 1st October 2013. He joined as a Board of Director of the Company on 1 October, 2022. All through his professional career, Mr. Rahman occupied a good number of prestigious and high-profile offices in different organizations namely Eastern Bank Limited, ICB Islamic Bank Limited, BRAC Bank Limited, Lanka Bangla Finance Limited, and GSP Finance Company (BD) Limited. Mr. Rahman has 12 (twelve) years professional experience in Bank and NBFI Sector in the field of Board Secretariat, Merchant Banking, Internal Audit, Legal & Asset Management/Recovery of different businesses.
Mr. Rahman is a qualified Chartered Secretary from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) and completed Masters of Law in Corporate Law from the Northern University of Bangladesh. He has also completed M. Com in Marketing. He is also studying Professional Chartered Accountant body of ACCA, the UK in skills level. Mr. Rahman took part in various training courses, seminars, and workshops particularly in the area of the capital market, risk management, good governance, internal audit, asset management company, secretarial practices etc.
Apart from academic attainment, Mr. Rahman is associated with social and humanitarian organizations like Rotary. He is also a Fellow Member of the “Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB)”, Life Member of the “Institute of Certified General Accountants of Bangladesh (CGA)” and Associate Life Member of the “Institute of Personnel Management of Bangladesh (IPM)”.
MOHAMMAD FERDOUS MAZID, MBA | DIRECTOR
Mr. Ferdous Mazid is only son of Mr. Abdul Mazid & Hasina Mazid, born and brought up at Dhaka. He passed SSC in 1995 from Motijheel Government Boys High School and HSC in 1997 from Notre Dame College. He achieved BBA degree in Finance & Banking and MBA in Finance from Dhaka University. He has a long association with the capital market and policy related activity. He has expert knowledge on fundraising, capital restructuring, dividend policy, corporate governance, regulatory compliances, capital market product development etc. Mr. Ferdous also carry out the role of Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in AAA Finance and Investment Company Ltd. He has various articles published in the leading English daily Newspapers on finance and economic related issues. Mr. Ferdous is also Director of Stock & Bond Limited member 199 of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited. He also participated in various seminar and training program in home and abroad. He is also Shareholder of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited, Khaas Food Limited. Mr. Ferdous is also Sponsor Director of Meera Agro Inputs Limited, a renowned seed processing company. He has also investment in Craftsman Footwear and Accessory Limited a renowned lather product export company. He visited Germany, Switzerland, France, Singapore, Saudi Arab, India, Dubai, Mauritius, Malaysia several times regarding business development and pleasure trip. He also perform Hajj and Umrah several times.
Mr. Ferdous Mazid is Life Member of Banani Socity, Notre Dame Alumni Association, Dhaka University Alumni Association, Finance Alumni Association and Founder Organizing Secretary of SSC95&HSC97Foundation.

Ms. Farhana Chowdhury, daughter of Mohammed Ibrahim Chowdhury, is a graduate in MSS. from the University of Dhaka. Ms. Farhana involved with the capital market since long. She is also the Director of Stock & Bond Limited, a member house of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. She is also one of the founder sponsors of Adarsha Shamabaya Bank Ltd. By dint of her keen interest, she gathered immense knowledge in the capital market. She contributes her expertise in day to day operational activities in the business.
MD. KHALID HOSSAIN | Managing Director (Acting)
Mr. Md. Khalid Hossain is a BBA and MBA graduate of Department of Finance and Department of Banking respectively, from the University of Dhaka. He joined AAA Finance & Investment Limited in July 2006, in Issue Management Division and has achieved profound knowledge on Capital Market and its different instruments. He has involvement in Issue Management works of different sectors like Banks, NBFIs, Insurance Companies and Manufacturing Organizations. Mr. Hossain is registered with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). He participated and completed successfully different training courses including Certificate Course on Personal Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM).
MD. SHAZZAD HOSSAIN, MBA | AGM & HOD (Accounts), Company Secretary
Md. Shazzad Hossain is a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from United International University (UIU), major in Finance. He has also completed Chartered Accountancy course from M. Ahmed & Company Chartered Accountants and at present studying ACCA. He joined AAA Finance & Investment Ltd. on January 10, 2010. He has a comprehensive knowledge on Accountancy, Finance, Budget and Income Tax.
Md. Samsul Haque, ACMA | Manager
Md. Samsul Haque ACMA, has been working with AAA Finance & Investment Limited since 2017, being a part of issue management department. So far he was involved with capital raising of 10+ companies’. He has invaluable experience in financial analysis & planning, reporting, accounting policies, taxation, capital market, IAS and IFRS.
Mr. Samsul ACMA, an enthusiastic and committed person, started his journey with S.R. Islam & Co, an audit associate. After that, Mr. Samsul has joined in Ahmed & Akter, a renowned audit firm as finance associate. He completed his graduation from Carmichael College and obtained Master’s Degree in accounting from Dhaka College. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and present member of Infrastructure Committee of ICMAB. Besides, he has participated many training program under BSEC, DSE & CSE.
Raihanul Haque Bhuiyan | Assistant Manager, Issue Management & Financial Advisory
Raihanul Haque Bhuiyan has diversified experience of dealing with Equity Financing, Investment Analysis, Financial Modeling, Corporate Advisory, Corporate Governance Structuring, Financial Consultancy, Corporate Restructuring, Merger & Acquisition and many more. He started his career in Accounts and Finance at Aftab Feed Limited as an Executive in 2018
Afterwards, he joined Riverstone Capital Limited (RCL) a leading Investment bank in Bangladesh in mid of 2019. Currently he started working here in AAA Finance and Investment Limited as an “Assistant Manager and leading the primary Market Services from the front. He has successfully completed a number of projects and mobilized fund worth BDT 1,350 Million
Raihan completed his BBA in Finance from Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) and completed 1100 marks in CMA at ICMAB and continuing management level. Indeed, he has completed ACCA applied skill level with his high ambitions. Currently he is pursuing his Masters in professional accounting from Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), University of Dhaka.
Md. Iftekharul Alam Farazi | Assistant Manager, Issue Management & Financial Advisory
Md. Iftekharul Alam Farazi has gather invaluable experience in financial analysis & planning, reporting, accounting policies, procedure, as well as taxes & VAT. He has also diversified experience of Financial Modeling, Corporate Advisory, Financial Consultancy and many more. Mr. Iftekhar started his career as an Assistant Manager (Audit & Assurance) in an Audit Firm, Ahmed Zaker & co., Chartered Accountants in 2016
Afterwards he joined Banco Finance & Investment Limited (BFAIL) in February 07, 2017. He has successfully completed a number of IPO projects worth BDT 1,100 Million Currently he is working in AAA Finance and Investment Limited as an “Assistant Manager” AAA is a leading Merchant bank in Bangladesh.
Iftekhar completed his BBA & MBA in Business Administration from University of Dhaka, he has also completed CA (CC) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) & complete 400 Marks in Certificate Level. He is registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). He participated different training courses of BSEC.
Yousuf Mia | Assistant Manager, Portfolio Management & Settlement
Mr. Yousuf joined AAA Finance & Investment Limited (Merchant Banking Division) in March 2017. He is working AAA Finance & Investment Limited as an “Assistant Manager”. He has extensive experience in CDBL Operations, Portfolio Management, Back-office Operations & Settlement, WordPress development, Microsoft Word & Excel.
Mr. Yousuf maintains excellent communication with clients, regulators and other stakeholders. He has more than eight years of work experience in capital market. Yousuf completed his BBA & MBA in Management from National University of Bangladesh. He is registered with the institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). Yousuf participated different training courses of BSEC, DSE, CDBL & Bangladesh Academy for Securities Markets (BASM).
